The working principle of my analysis: the AC voltage of 220V is converted to about 30V, and after bridge rectification and filtering, all the way is supplied to a multivibrator with adjustable duty cycle, which is composed of 78 12 voltage-stabilized output driving 555 time base circuit, and the output rectangular square wave drives two electronic switches IRF630N to form pulse charging for the charged battery. Comparison between the original design and the current product: the original design has two levels of voltage stabilization, 7824 and 78 12, and the output constant current of each channel is LM3 17. I improved his research: the current-limiting resistor consumes a lot of power and generates serious heat, but there is nothing I can do to achieve a pulse of > > 30 V and a reasonable current. I just added a heat sink to the current limiting resistor and welded it on the back of the board to avoid high temperature endangering the electrolytic capacitor. Now a small capacitor is used in the product to protect the 78 12 input from short circuit. I still think it is better to use diode ... 78 12 output filter capacitor ... the current limiting resistance of LED is too small, and 15-20K is more suitable, but there is still a problem: the battery will be discharged when it is not connected, and the discharge current will be nearly 50mA ... If the battery is disconnected in the middle, the LED will remain on ... I don't want to change it because of minor problems. ...
