Disadvantages of roasting pyrite in fluidized bed furnace to make chemical foundation

① The fine fuel in the fluidized bed is easily carried away by flue gas, so the unburned loss is large and the combustion efficiency is lower than that of the chamber combustion furnace; (2) There are more fly ash in the flue gas, and the heating surface of the boiler is easy to wear; (3) The air pressure of the blower required for blowing is high, so the power consumption is high; ④ It is difficult to uniformly feed coal and arrange buried pipes in the fluidized bed. ⑤ When burning inferior coal with high ash content, in order not to pollute the environment with a large amount of fly ash, an efficient and large-capacity ash removal device must be equipped. For the above reasons, it is still difficult to develop large-capacity fluidized bed boilers.

It is mainly used in the production of sulfuric acid by contact method, as a generating device for producing sulfur dioxide from iron disulfide.
