CGV is an international professional chain cinema operator and a high-end cinema brand. Established in 1996, CGV is a subsidiary of CJ Group, which operates the largest multi-hall cinema in Korea, and is headquartered in Seoul. 1In April 1998, CGV opened the first multi-hall cinema in Korea and introduced it to the east of Seoul for the first time.
