On March 22, Ningde Public Security Bureau reported that on March 21, parents of children in Sunshine Chinese-English Kindergarten in Jiaocheng District of Ningde reported that their children were infringed by teachers in the kindergarten. After receiving the police, Jiaocheng police immediately launched investigation and evidence collection according to law.

After preliminary investigation, Yang Moumou, a nurse in the park, pricked many children's wrists, palms and other parts with toothpicks in order to stop children from making noise during rest. At present, Yang has been administratively detained by the public security organs for intentional injury, and the case is under further investigation.
