Brief introduction of Zhapu port

Jiaxing Port Zhapu Port, located on the north side of Hangzhou Bay Bridge, is the only seaport and maritime foreign trade port in northern Zhejiang, a national first-class open port, and the core area of the manufacturing base on the north shore of Hangzhou Bay. With good deepwater coastline and port conditions, there are currently 10,000-ton berths 12 and 7 1,000-ton berths. Convenient collection and transportation conditions are about 100 km away from Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo. Jiaxing Port Area is an important advanced manufacturing base on the north shore of Hangzhou Bay in Zhejiang Province. The hinterland economy is developed, and there is huge room for the development of warehousing and logistics industry. Zhapu Port, an oriental port, was first proposed by Sun Yat-sen, located on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay, with a superior geographical position. Located on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay in the southwest of Shanghai, near Zhapu Town, Pinghu County, Zhejiang Province, it is about 1 10 nautical mile from Shanghai Wusong to Zhenhai. From 1986 to 12, a modern seaport was built around the riprap embankment of the former site of Zhapu Fort. The first phase of the project invested 73 million yuan to build an ocean terminal and an inland river port area. A wharf with a length of 1 150m and a wharf platform with a length of 252m and a width of 28m have been completed and put into use, which can dock 25,000-ton and 1000-ton seagoing vessels with an annual throughput of 454,000 tons. At the same time, the inland river port area can dock1200-ton inland river ships, with an annual throughput of 510.5 million tons.
