What is the difference between going to college and not going to college?
In today's society, people's understanding of academic qualifications has changed, and academic qualifications and abilities are no longer equated. But there are real differences between going to college and not going to college. There are two most obvious differences - first, the field of job search is different; second, whether you have college experience.
First, if you have not gone to college or obtained a bachelor's degree, then you will be restricted from applying for jobs in certain large companies or career editors.
I was recommending a job to a girl from my friend’s family that is suitable for her major. This girl is someone I used to teach. She has good English, can write, and is very reliable. But when the other party's public relations company looked at my resume, they asked me: Is it a junior college degree and not a bachelor's degree? I said: Yes, but I am taking the adult self-study exam and will have a bachelor's degree by the end of the year. She said politely: It's not appropriate.
To give another example, through my observation of bank recruitment in recent years, there are basically some rigid requirements: foreign students require graduate students or above, and local students require undergraduate students or above.
Second, going to college will give you some different experiences.
Generally speaking, students in college can be divided into four categories: academic masters, those who are keen on social practice, those who are addicted to playing games, and those who like to stay in the dormitory. The first two categories, those who are addicted to learning and those who love to socialize, are typical certifiers of the theory of the usefulness of college - on the school campus, they improved their knowledge, made friends, and made money for themselves. During their graduation and job hunting, Have more cards and confidence.
The latter two categories are those who like to play games in the dormitory or never leave the house, although they seem to be out of tune with others and a bit unconventional. But they also experience a sense of freedom, rebellion, and self on campus, and they also gain friendships with fellow students on campus. In short, college allows us to get rid of the exam-oriented education of high school and finally start to enjoy life and gain a different and happy life.
So if you have not gone to college, you may not have experienced these.
