Qilu EC1
Qilu Automobile is wholly owned by the local government of Shandong Province and is located in Qihe County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, together with Chery New Energy Dezhou Qihe, which produces Little Ant. The factory is only separated by a wall.
Qilu EC1 is positioned as a mini car, and its design is somewhat similar to that of Little Ant. The front face of the new car adopts a common closed design, with a rounded shape and large headlights on both sides, which is still recognizable. The side of the car is relatively similar to the current Little Ant. The two-color body, black rear exterior mirrors, new wheel hub design, etc. make this car look more cute, which is very different from the cuteness of Hongguang MINIEV.
The length, width and height of the new car are 3226/1676/1556mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2150mm. In terms of size, it is slightly stronger than the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, which can be considered a small advantage.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 25kW electric motor. The entry-level model has a cruising range of 130km, which is slightly more than the low-end Hongguang MINI EV. Basically it can be regarded as a "low-priced version of Little Ant". If the price is lower than the entry-level version of Hongguang MINIEV, it may be able to occupy a certain market share. However, the brand gap between it and Wuling will not be able to compete with it for a while, and it is possible to seize territory.
Ruiteng RT1

Judging from the model size and early publicity positioning, Ruiteng RT1 may compete with Xpeng P7, BYD Han EV, etc. Judging from the official information, Ruiteng RT-1 may be priced at 22 -250,000, and is expected to be officially launched in July.
For Chery, OEM can alleviate excess production capacity, release operating capital pressure, and can also fill its shortage in the field of new energy vehicles to a certain extent. However, OEM is ultimately positioned as a "tool man", and making small profits cannot help the long-term development of the company. For example, Yangtze is to Leapmotor, JAC is to Weilai, and Haima is to Xiaopeng. No one can truly stand up by relying on OEMs. Making yourself bigger is the key.
