Located in Haidian District, Beijing, Minzu University of China is adjacent to the National Library in the south and Zhongguancun Science Park in the north. It is a comprehensive national key university jointly established by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Beijing Municipality and the Ministry of Education.
