1. What is the retirement age of engineers?

1, the retirement age of engineers is:

(1) Men are over 60 years old, women are over 50 years old, and women cadres are over 55 years old, and they have worked continuously for ten years;

(2) Men who have reached the age of 55 and women who have reached the age of 45 have worked continuously for ten years, engaged in underground, high altitude, high temperature, particularly heavy physical labor or other jobs harmful to health;

(3) Men who have reached the age of 50 and women who have reached the age of 45 and have worked continuously for ten years are allowed to retire after being certified by the hospital and confirmed by the labor appraisal committee.

2. Legal basis: Article 2 of the Interim Provisions of the State Council on Several Issues concerning the Retirement of Senior Experts.

The retirement age of senior experts should generally be implemented in accordance with the unified provisions of the state. For a small number of senior experts who can still work normally due to work needs, their retirement age may be appropriately extended with their consent and approval by the following institutions:

Associate professors, associate researchers and senior experts with titles equivalent to those at the corresponding level may, with the approval of the competent authority at the next higher level, appropriately extend their retirement age, but the maximum age shall not exceed 65;

Professors, researchers and senior experts with the same titles at the corresponding level may extend their retirement age with the consent of their units and the approval of the people's governments of provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions or ministries and commissions of central and state organs, but the maximum retirement age may not exceed 70 years old.

Engineer title evaluation conditions:

1, graduated from university and engaged in professional and technical work for more than one year;

2, graduated from college, engaged in professional and technical work for more than two years;

3, graduated from technical secondary school, engaged in professional and technical work for more than three years;

4, graduated from high school, engaged in professional and technical work for more than seven years;

5, junior high school education personnel, engaged in professional and technical work for more than ten years, and should have a rank position.
