According to the information released by the People's Government Network of Fanxi County on May 28th, 2023, Cangxi County is located in the northern margin of Sichuan Basin, at the southern foot of Qinba Mountain and in the middle reaches of Jialing River, covering an area of 2,334 square kilometers, governing 3/kloc-0 townships and 454 villages (communities), with a total population of 742,900 and an agricultural population of 614300.
