Historical Evolution of Tengchong Pharmaceutical Factory in Yunnan Province

Tengchong Pharmaceutical Factory was established in 1956. Although it only has a history of nearly 50 years, it has a history of more than 370 years as the birthplace of Tengchong Pharmaceutical Factory-the ancestral temple built to commemorate the medicine saint Sun Simiao. Famous pharmacies and doctors from different schools in local history are gathered here. After several generations of struggle, it has stepped into the ranks of national key Chinese patent medicine factories, and plays an important role in more than 50 pharmaceutical industrial enterprises in Yunnan/KLOC-0, and has been rated as "China's time-honored brand" by the state. It was rated as "excellent enterprise" in Chinese medicine industry by state administration of traditional chinese medicine and "civilized unit" and "advanced management enterprise" by Yunnan provincial government year after year.
