Brief introduction of Guanwu village

Guanwu Village is located in Chengxiao Town, Lianjiang County, Fujian Province. In the mid-1980s, Guanwu Village was a well-known poor fishing village. The per capita annual income of fishermen is only 150 yuan, and the village collective debt is 56,000 yuan. The income of villagers depends entirely on planting sweet potatoes and kelp. Kelp is the main product of marine culture in Guanwu Village. However, due to the narrow and small varieties of kelp introduced at the earliest time, the yield per mu is very low. Guanwu Village has established a marine seawater research society, and recruited more than a dozen middle and high school students to engage in scientific research with experts.
