Located in chenghua district, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Chengdu East Railway Station is a railway station under the jurisdiction of Chengdu Railway Station of China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd., with Qionglai Mountain Road in the east, Minjiang Road in the south, Jinxiu Avenue section of Zhonghuan Road in the west and Jinmahe Road in the north. It is one of the major railway hubs in China and one of the largest railway passenger stations in the central and western regions. It is a comprehensive transportation hub integrating railway, railway, passenger transport and public transport.

Brief introduction of Chengdu East Railway Station

The former Chengdu East Railway Station was located in Balizhuang and was built in April of 196 1. Due to the newly-built Chengdu East Railway Station, it was renamed as Bali Station on February 20 10. The new Chengdu East Station was newly built on the former site of Shahebao (P) Station, and the construction officially started in June 5438+February 2008. On May 8th, 20 1 1, Chengdu East Railway Station was put into operation.

Chengdu East Railway Station consists of East Square, West Square and Station Building. Chengdu East Railway Station has five floors, which are the waiting floor (3F), the platform floor (2F), the exit floor (1F), the platform floor of Chengdu Metro Line 2 (-1f) and the platform floor of Chengdu Metro Line 7 (-2f) from top to bottom.

The first floor of the East Square will serve as a bus to pick up and drop off passengers, while the first floor of the West Square mainly serves taxis, airport buses and social vehicles. As of July 20 18, there were 1 1 ticket offices in Chengdu East Station.
