The full name of Litchi Street is Litchi Street Office of Fuling District People's Government of Chongqing (referred to as Litchi Street). Located at the junction of Fuling city center and the southwest and northwest suburbs of the main city. It is adjacent to Bai Tao Street in the east, Yajiang Town in Wulong County in the south, Longqiao Street in the west and Chongyi Street in the north, with an administrative area of 126 square kilometers.

Litchi Street was founded in 1992, which was formed by the merger of former Litchi Township and Qianjing Township. In May 2008, it merged with Gigi Lai Town to form a new litchi street. The whole street covers an area of 126 square kilometers, and governs six community neighborhood committees, namely Shunjiang, Fu Jian, Datang, Liming, Daoxiang and Wang Fu, as well as Ejingguan, Haozhiba and Xintiandi.
