Dayi County Experimental Middle School was founded in September 1997. It was originally named Jinyuan Town No. 2 Junior Middle School. It was later expanded into a nine-year school and renamed Dayi County Experimental School. In September 2002, in order to meet the needs of the development of universal high school education, the primary school was separated and expanded into a high school. In 2013, it was renamed Dayi Branch of Chengdu Liewu Middle School, Sichuan Province.
