The Job-hunting Process of CITIC Bank

As a fresh undergraduate in 2006, I finally got an offer from CITIC Bank during the hard job search. This result may be insignificant to many strongmen, but it is of far-reaching significance to me, because I have gained a lot from this hard process and the final result, and also summed up some experiences and points worthy of attention. I am willing to share some of my job hunting experience with others.

I. Meeting with China CITIC Bank

Before looking for a job, I went through the postgraduate entrance examination. At the end of the postgraduate entrance examination that night, I made up my mind to start looking for a job, because at that time I obviously felt that there was little hope for postgraduate entrance examination. It is better to open up another space than to wait. From the end of 1 to the middle of February, I collected a lot of recruitment information online and kept in touch with my classmates and friends in order to get useful information from them. However, half a month seems to be very short, and there is no progress except an interview with a consulting company in finance and taxation.

My girlfriend also reminded me to submit my resume as soon as possible, because she has received a written notice from CITIC Bank. The written test is on the evening of 16, only two days from today. My girlfriend submitted her resume in 20051February. (Hint: Information is very important in job hunting. In addition to collecting information by yourself, it is also useful to share information with each other, especially those recruitment information that has been published for a long time and has only recently begun to recruit. So that night I sent my resume to the email address indicated in the job advertisement. (Tip: Usually, if the job advertisement is not indicated, don't send your resume as an attachment, just copy and paste it directly. ) 15 one day, I didn't receive any reply, and I felt that there might be no hope. 16 at 9 am on the day of the written test, a strange fixed-line number was displayed on the screen after the phone rang. After the connection, mm's voice came. It turned out that CITIC Bank informed me to take the written test at 6 pm and asked me to bring my calculator in the teaching building of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education. I was very excited when I answered the phone. I told the news to my girlfriend at once. My girlfriend told me a detail when she was excited. It turned out that before sending the job advertisement to my email, she deliberately deleted the words "recruitment major: financial major" in order to avoid my worries when submitting my resume. (Tip: When submitting your resume, don't care too much about the professional restrictions. For example, majors in finance and governance are generally accessible, and there is no need to divide them too carefully, otherwise you will hesitate. ) This is the first time I met CITIC Bank.

Second, the written test is difficult.

? At 5: 30 pm on the day of receiving the written notice, my girlfriend and I rushed to the examination room of the teaching building of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education. In the afternoon, I only wrote a group of applicants, almost 60 people. After my girlfriend and I sat down, the examiner wrote down the exam questions, questions and answering time on the blackboard. The exam is divided into five parts, namely, psychological test, perceptual test, logical thinking test, calculation question and essay question. The first four parts are multiple choice questions. Each part has a prescribed time for answering questions, and the papers for that part will be collected at that time. The total time for answering questions is two and a half hours. It can be said that the time is tight and the task is heavy, and the scene is in an uproar.

The examiner handed out the test papers and began to answer questions. The first part has thirty questions, which are workplace psychological tests. The prescribed time is ten minutes. Actually, it's similar to the psychological questionnaire I usually do. I chose the answer according to my intuition and finished it within the specified time. The second part is the perception test, which was actually a question in the civil service examination a few years ago. I don't know anything about the civil service exam. Fortunately, it's not too difficult. Unfortunately, the number of questions is very large, which adds up to almost 150 questions. The time is only 50 minutes, that is, 20 seconds on average, and there is no chance to breathe. Fortunately, I have about three minutes to finish, and I will deal with a small part right away. The third part is logical reasoning, which is actually logical reasoning rather than Chinese proficiency test. If your Chinese comprehension ability is poor and you can't understand the meaning of the topic, it will be difficult for you to make a choice. Fortunately, my Chinese ability has always been good. There are 60 questions in this section and the time is 60 minutes. Some are relatively simple, and some need some twists and turns, but I feel that my hit rate in this part should be good.
