What is the rough surface of alumina coating?

Alumina is covered with calcium and magnesium. After coating alumina with calcium and magnesium, XRD analysis shows that V-type alumina with good adsorption performance exists on the surfaces of the three particles. Electron microscope observation shows that the surface of coated activated alumina is rougher, and the developed pore structure shows that it has higher adsorption capacity. XPS analysis showed that calcium oxide (CaO) and magnesium oxide coating (MoO) were formed on the surface of the particles, and the modified adsorbent was alkaline. BET measurement shows that the specific surface area of modified alumina increases, and the specific surface area of modified alumina is higher than that of unmodified alumina. The static test shows that the adsorption capacity of modified alumina for fluorine is significantly improved and the fluoride removal effect is stable.
