Anshun Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general higher vocational college. It was approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government in August 2006 and filed by the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of Anshun Agricultural School, Anshun Finance School, Anshun Health School and Anshun Industrial School. It is a high-level vocational school and professional planning and construction unit in Guizhou Province.

In 2006, with the approval of the provincial and municipal people's governments, Guizhou Machinery Industry Workers College and Guizhou Hongshan Bearing Corporation Technical School merged into Anshun Vocational College. 2011/in 2003, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Anshun Vocational College established Anshun Technician College and implemented the management system of "two brands and one team".
