Guizhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a provincial comprehensive agricultural research institution.

Guizhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences was founded in 1905. Since Guizhou Agricultural Experimental Site, it has experienced the evolution of Guizhou Agricultural Improvement Institute, provincial agricultural experimental site, provincial agricultural comprehensive experimental station and provincial agricultural science research institute. The hospital is headquartered in Jin Xin Community of Guiyang National Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to the beautiful Aha Lake National Wetland Park. It has jurisdiction over 18 research institute, staff hospital and affiliated middle school, and its research fields cover more than 30 majors such as rice, dry grain, horticulture, oilseeds, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, aquatic products, tea, Chinese herbal medicine, biotechnology, soil and fertilizer, and agricultural science and technology information. After 100 years of accumulation and development, it has become the only provincial comprehensive agricultural research institution in the province. It has built 13 agricultural engineering technology research centers, 1 provincial key laboratories, 17 national modern agricultural industrial technology system test stations,1provincial modern agricultural industrial system test stations, 3 field scientific observation test stations of key disciplines of the Ministry of Agriculture and Xingyi experimental demonstration base of ultra-high yield rice in Guizhou Province.
