Why Wuliangye can use transparent glass bottles, but Maotai can't?

Moutai can't get the sun in the hearts of drinkers, because it is maotai-flavor liquor. In fact, this view is too one-sided, because liquor is not only maotai-flavor liquor, but also other flavor liquors. Maotai does not use transparent glass bottles, while Wuliangye uses transparent glass bottles for their own reasons.

The reason why Moutai is afraid of sun exposure during storage is that direct sunlight will heat up the wine in the bottle. Everyone should know the common sense that alcohol will volatilize at high temperature in life. When liquor is heated by direct sunlight, alcohol will volatilize, which will lead to chemical reactions of acids, alcohols and esters in liquor, which will lead to the odor of liquor and destroy the storage value of liquor.

As we all know, Moutai is a high-grade liquor with high value in China. Its production cycle took nearly a year, and then it was aged for three years before it was finally produced. It is not difficult to see that Maotai-flavor liquor has high requirements for storage. Moreover, the material components of Maotai-flavor liquor are complex and diverse in the brewing process, which especially needs a good environment to reconcile. So the Moutai bottles we see today are all milky white glass bottles, which are opaque and suitable for storing Moutai.

And Luzhou-flavor liquor like Wuliangye is bottled in glass, so why not? In fact, as long as it is afraid of dry wine, Wuliangye has its own considerations in choosing transparent glass bottles. Wuliangye is a Luzhou-flavor liquor. Compared with other esters and ethyl acetate, its properties are relatively stable, the temperature does not exceed 37, and the wine body is not easy to change. Therefore, Wuliangye was packaged in glass bottles only after analyzing the wine body.

In fact, it is normal that these different brands of wine have different packaging. It is true that liquor is afraid of sun exposure, but each has its own way. Maotai uses ivory glass bottles, and people are afraid of the sun exposure. They don't want to affect the quality of wine because of packaging. Wuliangye, strictly speaking, can't be exposed to the sun for a long time, but as long as it's not in hot weather, it doesn't matter if you use glass bottles.
