Registration conditions and academic qualifications for the national judicial examination

According to the Measures for the Implementation of the National Judicial Examination, persons who meet the following conditions can sign up for the National Judicial Examination.

nationality

Have People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality.

legal knowledge

Bachelor's degree in law in institutions of higher learning or bachelor's degree in illegal studies in institutions of higher learning, with legal professional knowledge.

Good behavior

Good conduct.

Not registered

Having received criminal punishment for intentional crime; Being expelled from public office by a state organ or having his lawyer's practice certificate or notary's practice certificate revoked; Being sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment for two years and not signing up for the national judicial examination, or being sentenced to life imprisonment and not signing up for the national judicial examination; Providing false certification materials or defrauding registration by other means.

Educational requirements

Have a bachelor's degree in law in full-time colleges and universities and obtain a bachelor's degree or above, or a bachelor's degree or above in illegal studies in full-time colleges and universities and obtain a master's degree or above, or obtain other corresponding degrees to engage in legal work for more than three years. Except in areas specially prescribed by law.
