Is there a future for learning PLC?

The study of PLC can't be said to be promising. It should be said that the industry of PLC, or automation, has developed and has a bright future. Personally, I am an automation major, and I think it is still a good industry. The future development trend is to use machinery instead of labor, because it can not only obtain higher product quality, but also reduce labor. Why not?

Nowadays, large factories will use PLC technology or more advanced DCS technology. These two systems belong to the field of automation specialty and are indispensable for the future society. So PLC or automatic learning is very developed. Now I am a PLC engineer in an ordinary second-tier city. I am good at system design, programming and system development. My monthly salary is not low and my work is not very tiring.

Just use your head, PLC technology needs to accumulate experience, especially the experience of large-scale system design, which will be popular in PLC and even automation industry.
