History of Xiamen Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Company, formerly known as Xiamen Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Factory, was founded in 1972. It was originally a regional collective enterprise. Since 1993, Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Factory has started internal cooperation with Taiwanese businessmen. In August 2003, it was formally acquired by Li Shizhen Pharmaceutical Group, a Taiwan-funded enterprise. In the process of restructuring, 95% of the old employees of the former Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Factory found employment opportunities in the new enterprise, becoming the first collective pharmaceutical enterprise in our city with successful restructuring.
