Xingyi is the capital of Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Guizhou Province, located at the junction of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi provinces. It is connected with Anlong County in the east, Qujing City in Yunnan Province in the west, Baise City in Guangxi Autonomous Region in the south, Pu 'an County, Xingren County and Panxian County in Liupanshui City in the north, and Nanpanjiang River passes through the city.
