Qualifications required by the chief engineer

1, healthy, under 40 years old in principle.

2. Have a full-time college degree or above;

3. Hold the certificate of competency of class A captain with a gross tonnage of 3,000 tons or above, class A chief engineer with a tonnage of 3000KW or above, or class I captain and chief engineer in inland rivers, and actually serve as chief mate and chief engineer for 2 years or above.
