1. Tianjin Medical University

The predecessor of Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin Medical College, was founded in 1951. A higher medical school established with the approval of the Government Affairs Council of the Central People's Government. In June 1994, Tianjin Medical College and Tianjin Second Medical College merged to form Tianjin Medical University. In 1996, the school was identified as a key university in the national “211 Project”. In September 2017, the school was selected into the first batch of national “World-Class Discipline Construction Universities”.

2. China Pharmaceutical University

China Pharmaceutical University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a multidisciplinary university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. It is a national key university and a national “double first-class” university.

3. Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Medical University

The Naval Medical University was founded in September 1949. At that time, it was called the East China Military Region People's Medical College. It was mainly composed of the East China Medical Cadre School and the Third Field Army. It is composed of some personnel from the Medical College of the Ministry of Health and the former National Defense Medical College of the Kuomintang who have stayed in mainland China, as well as experts and professors recruited from local areas.

5. Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The school was founded in 1956, formerly known as Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is the earliest higher education institution of traditional Chinese medicine approved by the State Council. In 1960, the school was designated as a national key university by the central government; in 1971, the school merged with the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In 1977, the two colleges separated and resumed independent education respectively; in 1993, the school was renamed Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; in 1996, it was selected as a key university in the national "211 Project"; in 2000, the school cooperated with Beijing Acupuncture The College of Orthopedics and Traumatology merged to form the new Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
