How to disassemble the starter of Haier refrigerator?

Remove the refrigerator starter. Just where there is a gap in the top of the compressor electrical box in your photo, insert it with a screwdriver, press it down, it will open the electrical box, and then take out the starter.

First find the black electric box cover of the refrigerator terminal, pry it open with a screwdriver, and then pry it open from the part where the starter is connected with the compressor with a screwdriver.

It should be noted that sometimes two devices are assembled and installed on the compressor, and they should be unloaded together when unloading.

First, the refrigerator starter bad reason analysis

1. The inlet and outlet valves of the compressor leak air, and the refrigeration efficiency is low, so the normal refrigeration in the refrigerator cannot be guaranteed.

2. The quantity of refrigerant in the refrigeration system is insufficient. It is difficult to cool down in the refrigerator. Although the temperature drops, it is not stable.

3. The contact on the temperature controller is poor. When working, the contacts can't be connected or disconnected well, which leads to irregular and frequent actions of the compressor.

4. The temperature control range of the temperature controller is too small. When the temperature in the refrigerator rises or falls slightly, the contacts on the thermostat will be opened or closed, which will make the compressor operate frequently.

5. The reason why the compressor frequently runs because the voltage is too high or too low is that when the voltage is too high, the current through the starter increases accordingly. When the current exceeds the allowable range, the starting contact cannot be released and the starting winding cannot be disconnected.

Second, how to repair the refrigerator starter if it is broken?

1. Only after it is confirmed that the air inlet and exhaust valves are leaking through the compressor test, can the shell be cut for maintenance.

2. Turn the thermostat to the cold position to make the temperature control range wider, and then let the compressor run and observe for a period of time. If the compressor is still started frequently, the thermostat is damaged and the friction thermostat needs to be replaced.

3. Turn on and off the power supply of the refrigerator repeatedly, and adjust the adjusting screw of the starting contact sheet metal, so that the starting contact is closed when the compressor is powered on and disconnected after the compressor is started. Cut off the power supply of the refrigerator after the adjustment is normal.

4. The poor contact of the contacts on the thermostat is caused by the fact that the contacts can't be turned on or off quickly, so it is necessary to polish the contacts with fine sandpaper to make them contact well.

5. Most of the reasons for insufficient refrigeration in the refrigeration system are caused by slight leakage of the system. After comprehensive inspection, repair welding, leakage test and evacuation, refrigerant shall be injected as specified in the manufacturer's manual.

6. Unplug the power plug of the refrigerator and measure the power supply voltage with a multimeter. If the voltage is not higher than 240V and not lower than 180V, it belongs to the allowable voltage range. If the voltage exceeds the above range, stop using the refrigerator or buy a reliable 500W autotransformer.
