2. Miaoguang Tower

Address: Nanzengji, No.32 Xiangyang Road, Liangxi District, Wuxi

It is one of the "480 temples in Southern Dynasties" in nanzenji, and the "Southern Zen Pagoda" is also one of the famous eight scenic spots in Wuxi. This tower was built in the Yongzheng period of the Northern Song Dynasty, and was named Miaoguang by Song Huizong in the third year of Chongning.

Since the middle of Ming Dynasty, "Nanchan Pagoda" has been listed as one of the "Eight Scenes of Liangxi". In its heyday, the Miaoguang Tower has seven floors and eight sides, upturned corners and upturned cornices, and a wind chime is hung on each corner. Four lights are lit in the tower every night, "wonderful light" is everywhere, and 56 wind chimes jingle. It was nearly 600 years earlier than the Longguang Tower on Huishan, and it was a famous landmark building in Yixi at that time.

3. Wanshan Tower

It has a history of more than 460 years, and is also known as the stone building (because it is engraved with the Buddha statue) and the Baoqing Tower. Wanshan Tower is a seven-level hexagonal solid tower with clear bedding, simple structure and fine carving. Because general towers are hollow, solid towers are rare and expensive.

4. Nian Zanta

Climbing the tower to see the garden, overlooking the plum blossom snow, overlooking the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, makes people feel excited and open-minded.

5. Ningchun Tower

Wuxi Garden has the saying that there is no tower and no garden, and Xiaoli Garden has a small and exquisite Ningchun Pagoda. This octagonal building has five floors, with red bricks and blue tiles, Li Qiao Bo Xin and the reflection of the waterside pavilion. It has a history of 100 years and was built for Wang Yuqing and his son. On the cliff next to the tower, clusters of azaleas with different shapes and reflections of red clouds awaken a lake of spring water.

The Spring Pagoda can be enjoyed with the Liyuan Scenic Area as a whole. From the "clear red, smoky green" pavilion in the center of the eastern end of the pear garden corridor to the red brick and blue tile of Ningchunlou across the water, it is one of the landmark buildings of the pear garden, small and exquisite, with strong color contrast.

6. Xingguo Tower

On Jiangyin South Street, there is a Millennium ancient pagoda, the tower body inclines to the northeast by 0.25m, and the top of the tower faces north 18 degrees, so it is called "leaning tower". Because of the fire, only the brick tower, such as the pen end, points directly at the sky, so it is also called "pen tower".

Xingguo Tower was built in Taiping Xingguo in the early Song Dynasty (976983). It was once a seven-level pagoda in Taiping xingguo temple, so it was called "Xingguo Pagoda". It and the Huazang Tower of Wukong Temple in Qingyang Town are both octagonal and seven-story pavilion-style brick and wood structures, so people call them "Chengjiang Twin Towers".
