There are several intermediate people's courts in Nanchang.

Nanchang * * * has jurisdiction over nine intermediate people's courts: donghu district People's Court, Xihu District People's Court, qingyunpu district People's Court, Qingshan Lake District People's Court, Wanli District People's Court, Nanchang County People's Court, Xinjian County People's Court, Anyi County People's Court and Jinxian County People's Court.

The Intermediate People's Court is a hierarchy of the people's court system, and its superior unit is the Higher People's Court, which is located in prefecture-level administrative regions (including prefecture-level cities, autonomous prefectures, regions and leagues) and people's courts of municipalities directly under the Central Government except Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
