Calculation formula of machining time of boring machine

1. Calculation of boring depth: boring depth = total length of boring-other machining depth. Other machining depths here include chamfering, drilling and so on.

2. Calculation of boring time: boring time = boring depth ÷ boring feed speed. Among them, the boring cutter feed speed refers to the length of boring cutter feed per unit time, and the unit is usually mm/min.

3. Calculation of tool change time: tool change time = tool change times × single tool change time. Among them, the number of tool changes refers to the number of times that the boring tool needs to be changed during boring, and the single tool change time refers to the average tool change time.

4. Calculation of idling time: idling time = boring time+tool changing time.

5. Calculation of total machining time: total machining time = boring time+tool changing time+idling time.
