Qiaomiao Zhenming was originally called Qiaojia Temple, which was named after Qiaojia Temple (Sanguan Temple). There are cultural relics such as Sanguan Temple (now Qiaomiao Primary School), Theater, Qiaoyankeng (now Supply and Marketing Cooperative Courtyard). There are drainage facilities around the ancient village and the pit behind the temple. In the early days of liberation, there was an ancient walled village here. Houzhao Village is one of the oldest villages in Qiaomiao Town. It was built in the second year of Hongwu in Daming, that is, Gregorian calendar 1369. The ancient clock of the Ming Dynasty in Qiaomiao Temple is the best preserved historical relic with the most historical value so far. This clock was first cast on October 13th, the thirty-third year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, namely 1554. It was originally hung in the "Sanguan Temple" in the history of Qiaomiao in Wuzhi County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, and then transported to Zhandian section of Wuzhi County on the Yellow River levee on 1958 to be used for dike construction and flood control alarm. It was lost in the south bank of the Yellow River and now hangs on the third floor of the "Floating Pavilion" in Mangshan Yellow River Tourist Area of Zhengzhou, which is a highlight of the floating pavilion. The inscription on the ancient clock clearly recorded the names of the villagers who planned to build the clock. The words "Taiping country, too common people and good weather" are cast on the top of the clock, and the "Qiaojia Temple clock in the east of Wuzhi, Huaiqing Prefecture, Henan Province, Daming Country" is cast in the center of the clock. Before liberation, the place where the ancient clock was hung was Qiaomiao Central Primary School in Guyang Township, Wuzhi County, and the world-famous "Wuzhi Middle School in Henan Province" was also temporarily established here. After liberation, it became the Qiaomiao School in New China. The first-class teachers in the county town here have trained the pillars of national construction from generation to generation! The ancient clock is the crystallization of the hard work and wisdom of the people in Qiaomiao Temple of Wuzhi, Jiaozuo, and it is a valuable cultural heritage of Wuzhi! It has been rippling in Qiaosi for more than 400 years and witnessed the vicissitudes of Qiaosi! It left a brilliant page for the history of Wu Zhi's civilization! He made immortal contributions to the flood control of the Yellow River in North China!
