Is BIM engineer certificate a professional title certificate?

BIM engineer is not a professional title certificate. BIM application engineer refers to a technician who has and can skillfully use various BIM technical software to create, apply and manage three-dimensional digital models suitable for the planning, design, construction and operation of construction projects and facilities.

BIM application engineer should be a professional with high comprehensive quality who fully understands the knowledge and skills related to BIM management, technology and regulations. They should not only have certain theoretical level and modeling foundation, but also have certain practical experience and organizational management ability.

BIM application engineers are divided into junior, intermediate and advanced levels according to different examination subjects and professional directions. Namely, BIM junior application engineer, BIM intermediate application engineer and BIM senior application engineer.

Based on the application and promotion of BIM application technology in various industries, BIM application engineers can be divided into different directions such as architecture, structure, electromechanical, decoration, cost, municipal administration, highway, water conservancy and electric power.
