Zaozhuang passenger transport center is planned and designed according to the standard of first-class bus terminal. The planning and design scheme was made public to the whole country through online bidding, and China Architectural Design and Research Institute won the bid.

The planned floor area is 77 194.7 square meters (10/6 mu), and the total designed building area is 49,200 square meters, of which the main building area is 30,600 square meters (including the underground parking area 10000 square meters) and the three individual building areas are160,000 square meters.
