I am an undergraduate majoring in law at Nanchang University 1. I am currently in the first half of my sophomore year. I applied for a double degree in accounting this semester and want to enter the Big Four in the future. I want to ask: I am a bachelor, and now I have worked in the Big Four for 4 or 5 years. I would like to express my personal views on the above issues for reference only:

Professional and academic considerations:

1. If you want to enter the top four in the future, it is recommended to apply directly after graduation. Graduate students are all working after graduation, and the opportunity cost is too high. When recruiting, graduate students are treated the same as undergraduate students, and there is no difference. You can continue to study for on-the-job graduate students after work.

2. major is not the main thing. Most of my colleagues around me are non-accounting majors and non-financial colleges. The talents recruited by the company with strong personal learning ability and adaptability (good language skills and communication skills are particularly important) will be systematically trained in their professional knowledge after joining the company, so there is not much difference whether they are accounting majors, but if they are not accounting majors, they should work harder in the future to make up for the lack of professional knowledge at work.

The direction that needs to be worked hard now:

1. If you can register for the CPA exam at school first, try to take the exam first and try to pass some or all of the exams at school. If you want to work in an accounting firm, you must obtain the qualification of certified public accountant, which will bring opportunities for your career development. If you can't register at school, I suggest you prepare for the CPA exam course in advance in your senior year, try to pass more subjects at one time when you can register, and continue to conquer the rest during your work.

2. English learning: As most customers are multinational companies, they use more English and need a solid English foundation and certain communication skills. Learn English well at school to pave the way for future work. So I have time to learn more English.
