Brief introduction of Chongqing Maritime Safety Administration

Chongqing Maritime Safety Administration is an administrative law enforcement agency established by the Ministry of Transport, which is responsible for the supervision and management of water safety in Chongqing section of the Yangtze River trunk line, the prevention of water pollution from ships and the rescue of life on water. It was formed by the merger of the former Chongqing Yangtze River Port Supervision Bureau, Wanxian Yangtze River Port Supervision Bureau and Chongqing Local Maritime Bureau in June 5438+1October 65438+August 2002. Since June 65438+1 October12009, the Yangtze River Chongqing Communications Administration has been merged into Chongqing Maritime Safety Administration. Yongchuan, Jiangjin, Banan, Chaotianmen, Changshou, Fuling, Fengdu, Zhongxian, Wanzhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wushan You 12 and Chongqing Maritime Bureau Communication Information Center are under the responsibility of Changjiang Luzhou Communication Management Office. There are 26 maritime law enforcement brigades, 3 offices and 5 temporary monitoring points in the waters of the bridge.
