Zhongning County is located in the middle of Ningxia, on both sides of the Yellow River, 40 kilometers away from Yinchuan/KLOC-0. It is the birthplace and authentic origin of Lycium barbarum in the world, and was named as the hometown of Lycium barbarum in China by the State Council in 1995.

Zhongning is located at the intersection of Yinchuan to Liupanshan and Yinchuan to Shapotou. There are three railways in Baolan, Baozhong and Taizhongyin, and five expressway in Shizhong, Zhonghao, Zhongying, Zhonggu and Zhongyan. 109 National Highway and1kloc-0/Provincial Highway pass through the northwest.

Mingsha town 1

Mingsha Town is a township-level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Zhongning County, zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

By the end of 20 18, Mingsha Town had jurisdiction over the following areas: Yanming Community, Huangying Village, Xue Ying Village, Mingsha Village, Erdaoqu Village, Wudaoqu Village, Tan Li Village, Changtan Village and Changming Village.

2. Ding Yu Town

Ding Yu Township is located at15km northwest of Zhongning County. The northern part of the town is hilly, with rich mineral reserves, such as coal and limestone, and some metals, such as iron, tin, copper and gold.

Relying on its own geographical advantages, the township has developed rapidly in industry and agriculture. The Township Party Committee was named "Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization" by zhongwei.
