Xichong Middle School in Sichuan Province, located in Xichong County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, is a key middle school in Sichuan Province, a national model ordinary high school in Sichuan Province and a first-class model ordinary high school in Sichuan Province.

Xichong Middle School in Sichuan Province was formerly a county junior middle school founded in the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923). 1950 xichong middle school in Sichuan province was formed by merging county junior middle school, Chongqing Bashu middle school and private Yu Ying middle school which moved to xichong during the anti-Japanese war. In 2000, Xichong Experimental Junior High School merged; 20 10 xichong county duofu junior high school merged to establish xichong middle school duofu campus.

As of September 20 15, the school covers an area of 242 mu, with a total construction area of 80,000 square meters and a greening rate of 60%. The school has more than 8,000 students and 450 faculty members.

In February 2005, the school moved to the new campus as a whole; By September of 20 15, the school had built teaching buildings (three in senior high school and one in junior high school), science and technology building, planetarium, playground, office building, student apartment, student canteen, campus network and other infrastructure.
