Is it dangerous to volunteer in Yunnan?

Generally speaking, it is not dangerous, at least not too dangerous for volunteers. As long as you don't show off your wealth and put on airs, it's generally good. Many of my friends have been volunteering in Zhongdian and Lugu Lake for many years. They are all ladies, and they have never heard of any danger. On the contrary, the local people are very enthusiastic about them. However, no one can guarantee public safety. In case of danger, you can only say that your life should be like this. You can't blame others. Think more about bodhisattvas and gods.
