Recently, China Water Network learned from E20 environmental platform standard information collection system that the first phase of the network integration project of Nanchang Sewage Treatment Plant in Jiangxi Province issued a tender announcement, with the project budget of 1258266 100 yuan. The contract performance period of this project is 30 years, including 3 years of construction and 27 years of operation. This project does not accept consortium bidding.

In this project, the rainwater and sewage pipe network and its supporting facilities, as well as the sewage treatment plant are mainly built and rebuilt within the urban area of 17.2 square kilometers, of which the rainwater and sewage pipe network is about 375.9 kilometers. According to this project, the effluent quality of the sewage treatment plant meets the Class A emission standard of Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants.

This project plans to adopt BOT mode. Nanchang New District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau granted the project company established by the winning bidder (hereinafter referred to as "franchisee") the right to invest, build, operate and maintain sewage treatment plants and rainwater and sewage pipe networks within a specific scope, and the franchisee provided sewage collection and sewage treatment services and obtained relevant benefits. The franchise period is 30 years. After the franchise expires, the project facilities will be handed over to the designated government agencies free of charge.
