Is there a requirement for IELTS scores when immigrating to Australia?

Australian immigrants apply for different visa types and have different IELTS requirements. Kaisheng shares with you three popular types of immigrants:

Skilled immigrants in Australia: IELTS at least 6 points.

There are three kinds of skilled immigrants in Australia, namely 189 visa, 190 visa and 489 visa * * *, each of which requires the same IELTS score for the applicant, with a minimum of 6 points in four items. Applicants with four IELTS scores of 7 will have an advantage in participating in the grading.

Employer sponsored immigration: 4.5 points for at least 4 IELTS students.

Visa 186 and visa 187 require at least four IELTS scores of 6, and visa 457 requires at least four IELTS scores of 4.5, with a total score of not less than 5, in order to meet the requirements.

Australian investment immigrants do not take IELTS.

There are five kinds of visas for Australian investment immigrants, namely, entrepreneurial immigrant 188A, investment immigrant 188B, major investor 188C, business genius immigrant 132 and excellent investor PIV.
