The Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center of Hubei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is a comprehensive testing and research institution approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on the basis of the former Technical Testing Center of Hubei Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau and the Quarantine Laboratory of Hubei Animal and Plant Quarantine Bureau in May, 2008+0999+/KLOC-0.

According to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, the Technical Center has established a perfect quality management and quality assurance system, which has passed the metrological certification and the approval of China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories. The center consists of five departments: office, customer service department, food and cosmetics inspection office, industrial products inspection office and animal and plant quarantine office. Five key laboratories, including chemical classification, identification and evaluation, national health food inspection, cosmetics inspection, pig inspection and bee disease inspection. There are also 9 Hubei regional central laboratories and several routine laboratories designated by AQSIQ.
