The installation process of solid wood floor is as follows

Check the flatness of the floor.

Check the smoothness of the paved floor with stay wires, which should be checked together with the paving during installation. During trial paving, the height difference and gap of the board surface should be observed and adjusted at any time. After inspection, it can be installed with glue.

Sizing device

Generally, 2-3 rows of D4 or anhydrous environmental protection glue can be coated on the side for fixation. Other middle parts are completely engaged by tenon and groove, and no sizing is needed.

Cutting and sizing

The last floor should be cut and glued by measuring its width, and the top of it should be made tight with hooks or screws.

Treatment of expansion joint

In dry areas, the ground is wet, and the expansion joints should be kept small; Because the floor in wet areas is dry, the expansion joints should be kept large. In some particularly humid areas such as East China, South China and Central South China, when installing floors, the arrangement between floors is generally not too tight (usually the thickness of a business card can be stored between floors is more accurate). In northeast, northwest and north China, it is generally better to lay the floor tightly.

The distance between the door and the ground

Room, hall, hall interface, must cut off the floor, leaving enough expansion joints, with convergent strips and hardware bridge. The distance between the door and the ground should be 3-5 mm so that the door can be opened and closed freely.

Installation of skirting board

The thickness of skirting board should be greater than 15mm, and the gap between floor expansion joints should be within 5- 12mm during installation. Should be filled with polystyrene board or elastomer to prevent the floor from loosening. When installing the skirting board, be sure to cover the expansion joint. If the wall or foundation is uneven, cracks are expected to appear. Please ask the decorator to repair the cracks.
