Xianning Central Hospital was established in 1966, formerly known as Xianning District People's Hospital and Hu Yi Xianning Branch Affiliated Hospital. Xianning District 1998 was named Xianning Central Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xianning College after reclamation.
