The Municipal Party Committee decided to separate Sichuan Pengshan Economic Development Zone from Qinglong Management Committee of Tianfu New District, and merged the original Mei Cheng Petrochemical Park into Sichuan Pengshan Economic Development Zone as a whole, which provided a strong guarantee for the future development of the park, marking that the development of the park has entered a new historical stage and ushered in new development opportunities.
