Guiyang Health School, located in downtown Guiyang, was founded in the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939). Its predecessor was Guiyang Senior Physician Vocational School in Guizhou Province. 1950 merged with Guiyang Senior Nurse Vocational School, Jiangxi Northeast Military Region Health School and Zunyi Senior Physician Vocational School, and was renamed Guizhou Health School, which was subordinate to the Provincial Health Department.
