Business scope of China Red Cross Foundation

China Red Cross Foundation mainly implements two series of public welfare projects: one is the Red Cross Angel project in the field of medical assistance, and the other is the "charity assistance plan" in the series of assistance plans. In order to realize its purpose and mission, China Red Cross Foundation has been promoting a large-scale social welfare undertaking-"Red Cross Angel Project" in the medical and health field since August 2005. The plan aims to pay attention to the life and health of farmers and migrant workers, mobilize international and domestic social resources extensively, and establish the first "Red Cross Angel Fund" in China. With the funds and medical materials raised, we will provide medical assistance to poor rural farmers and migrant farmers suffering from major diseases (including infectious diseases, endemic diseases and occupational diseases), assist the government in improving medical and health conditions in poor rural areas, and donate money to build the "Red Cross Angel Hospital".

In recent years, great progress has been made in raising funds and supporting this project. The types of serious illness assistance include leukemia, congenital heart disease, cerebral palsy, progressive muscular dystrophy, cleft lip and palate, blindness, deafness, cancer, heart disease, urban sub-health and so on.

In Mingxing Village, Chenzhou, Hunan Province, the first stop of the free clinic organized by Sinochem International and the local Red Cross Society is here. This activity focuses on left-behind children in rural areas, and will be held in 17 Sinochem International Aibo Health Station in nine provinces including Hubei and Guizhou. Since 2009, Sinochem International has joined hands with the China Red Cross Foundation to promote the Red Cross Angel Project, a large-scale social welfare project, to improve the basic medical and health conditions in poor rural areas and solve the difficulties for farmers to see a doctor. Sinochem International donated 17 Pok Oi health stations in poor rural areas in Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Guizhou and other provinces. Each station is equipped with commonly used drugs, medical instruments and medical equipment, which solves the trouble of local villagers going to county and township hospitals for medical treatment, benefiting nearly100000 farmers.
