Jin, the violin principal of Beijing Xinya Chamber Orchestra, was once the violin principal of China Youth Symphony Orchestra. Born into a musical family in Shenyang, he studied violin with the famous violinist (his father) Jin Zhe at the age of five.

1992 was admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music with the first place, and studied under the famous violin educator Professor Wang Zhilong. 1998 studied under the famous violin educator Professor Wang Zhenshan.

After graduating in 2002, he still served as the violin chief of Beijing Xinya Air Orchestra and Beijing Air Art Festival Choir. During this period, he participated in various performances at home and abroad for many times, and successfully premiered Kavensky Violin Concerto in Zhongshan Concert Hall in 2003.
