Regulations on the work of cadre archives

Article 31

Because of the need to consult and borrow cadres' files, the following provisions shall be observed:

(a) the consulting unit shall fill in the Examination and Approval Form for Consulting Cadres' Files and go through the examination and approval procedures in accordance with the provisions on consulting cadres' files. (seven) units or individuals that borrow or consult files shall not take the contents from the files. Because of the need to obtain evidence from the archives, it is necessary to consult the competent department of cadre archives for approval before copying (shooting).

Article 32

Organizations and personnel departments at all levels should make specific provisions on the borrowing scope, examination and approval authority, registration and return procedures of cadre files managed by their own units according to the above principles and specific circumstances.
