Shenzhen College of Georgia Institute of Technology, Tianjin University (GTSI) is a non-independent Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution jointly organized by Tianjin University and Georgia Institute of Technology with the support of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. On March 25th, 2020, the Ministry of Education issued a document approving the formal establishment of GTSI.

Relying on the superior disciplines of Tianjin University and Georgia Institute of Technology, combined with the economic and social development needs of Shenzhen and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, GTSI has set up five full-time master's degree programs in electronic and computer engineering, analysis (big data analysis), computer science, environmental engineering and industrial design, and electronic and computer engineering 1 full-time doctoral degree program. At present, there are full-time graduate students majoring in electronic and computer engineering 138, and other majors are enrolled in 202 1 globally. The long-term running scale of GTSI is about 3,000 students, which will include full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education.
