Introduction to Ankang People's Hospital

Ankang People's Hospital was founded in 1978, formerly known as Ankang Railway Central Hospital. It was officially transferred to the Ankang People's Government on January 1, 2005, and is under the management of the Municipal Health Bureau. In the same year, it was named by the municipal government For Ankang People's Hospital. The hospital covers an area of ??16,100 square meters (26.8 acres). The original construction area was 19,194 square meters and the current building area is 45,959 square meters. It is currently a Class II A general hospital with 700 beds; 668 employees, including 583 health technicians (210 with intermediate or senior professional titles); it has 47 clinical, medical technology, and administrative logistics departments. It is the designated hospital for basic medical care for urban employees in Xi'an Railway Bureau, Ankang City, and Hanbin District; the designated hospital for rural cooperative medical care in the city; the Second Affiliated Hospital of Ankang Vocational and Technical College; 1 The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, and Shaanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital Collaborating hospital; Ankang Cancer Radiotherapy Center. The hospital has five health clinics to provide medical and health services to employees and their families along the Xikang and Xiangyu railway lines.
